Normally, it only drops in Normal and Heroic. I'm not sure how long this bug lasted, but those who got it whilst it was around were able to keep it.Īfter 7.3 was released, the Green Infernal mount was dropping from LFR Gul'dan. Instead of having to run Sethekk Halls just once a day for a chance at the mount, you could just spam Arcatraz till you got it. The Bijous were deleted if you logged, but that would happen even before the bug fix.Īnother recent bug was that the trash mobs in Arcatraz would drop the Raven Lord mount. The bug remained in for about six hours after it was discovered, but those who got took advantage of it still got to keep the weapons and armor. Most recently, 7.3.5 caused the rares and bosses in Zul'farrak to drop weapons, armor, coins, and bijous from the original Zul'gurub. Normally, it comes down to whether using that bug breaks the ToS. concerning that one of the main WoW devs felt he didn't get enough praise for running around on his special mount, which, technically, was far more of a guild effort than a solo effort. That aside, I really doubt they did this for themselves, even if I find it very. Especially when this was also the very expansion where they added a HD Corrupted Ashbringer for any Paladin to get. Those are two fundamentally contradictory positions to hold, yet they did so by not only letting WoTLK Scarab Lords keep their stuff, but rewarding them with a new mount for free as well.īut that's just my opinion. I really don't think they can keep WoTLK Scarab Lords around and at the same time act as if there's any prestige in being a Scarab Lord. It was a fault left in by Blizzard, but they get their progression set back and their accounts temporarily banned.Īnd if not banned, the mount and title should at least have been taken away. It was an oversight of Blizz to have the gates be closed on those new servers, and players just took advantage of that and how easy it was to complete the old questline.ĭon't players get banned all the time for making use of bugs or unintended side effects that allows them to do such stuff? Like progression raiders using tricks to exploit the boss. As for banning those who got it during Wrath, you can't really ban them for something that didn't break anything in the ToS.
